Climate

The climate varies significantly with altitude from an annual mean of 3 in the cold-alpine zone to 17.2 in the subtropical zone. The site is frequently covered in dense cloud, with associated high humidity (85%) and rainfall (annual mean precipitation is 1,992mm).<BR>The coldest season here is January with the average temperature 4.3℃　and the lowest －4℃. Snow covers the areas over 2,000m for about half year. On the golden summit, the average temperature in July is 11.8℃ and the highest 20℃.
